Kai Blakley is a documentary photographer and artist based in the Great Lakes region. His work moves between private life, commissioned photo assignments, and passing encounters.
Blakley holds an MFA in Documentary Media from Northwestern University and has more than a decade of professional experience behind the camera.
His photographs form an ongoing record of contemporary life in and around the Great Lakes region.
